Recently, the Organizers of the BKI 2024 coordinated with the Technology Business Incubation Center (HCMUT-TBI) to organize an 08-day training program directly at HCMUT and online for teams from other provinces, from June 22nd, 2024 to July 2nd, 2024. This program provides knowledge and skills on innovative startups for the competition teams.
The program organizers expect that each team will be able to design and practice a systematic business project pitch simulation under guidance from leading industry experts and experienced HCMUT lecturers.
MBA. Tran Thi Tuyet – Lecturer of the Industrial Management School, HCMUT shared in this session that the competition teams had an impressive opening session on June 22nd with much new knowledge about Industry & Market Analysis.
On June 23rd, MBA. Bui Huy Hai Bich – Lecturer of the Industrial Management School, HCMUT brought vivid perspectives to the teams on Product Design, Competitive Analysis, and Marketing so that our teams could build practical viewpoints about product/service feasibility analysis, minimum viable product (MVP) design – design thinking, competitor analysis and marketing issues.
The training series continued with the presentation about Developing effective business models led by Mr. Michael Saram – Director of WinSolutions, Startup Advisor at GERMAN X on June 29th. The training session clarified the concept and common types of business models, the main components of a business model, and effective business model development.
On June 30th, with the companionship of Ms. Truong Yen Nhi – Investment Analyst at Favor Capital Financial Consulting Company, Favor Capital Investment Fund, contestants learned more about the financial goals of businesses, how to set up and read financial statements, and economic analysis methods. In addition, contestants were also equipped with capital-raising skills, helping them confidently present and persuade potential investors. This knowledge and skills help them better understand the business status and open up great opportunities for attracting investment capital.
At the end of the training course, the competing teams are equipped with basic knowledge about innovation and entrepreneurship and confidently apply it in the upcoming journey of BKI. This also proves that BKI 2024 is not only a playground between competing teams, but also creates an environment to nurture student talent in innovative startups.
Attention: For teams registering to participate in BKI during the extension period from June 23rd to July 13th, the Organization Board of BKI will hold an Entrepreneurship Training Recap session for teams via an online platform on July 17th, 2024.
